The short version

WordRace does not collect personal information. No account, no email, no tracking. We store the bare minimum needed to run a multiplayer word game.

What we store

When you play WordRace, the following data is stored on our servers for the duration of a game session:

Display name — the nickname you choose before playing. This is not linked to any real identity.
Avatar seed — a random string used to generate your in-game avatar. It contains no personal information.
Game data — your guesses, board state, round results, and scores for the current series.
Anonymous player ID — a randomly generated identifier stored on your device. It is not linked to any account or personal information.

What we do NOT collect

Email addresses
Real names
Location data
Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV)
Analytics or usage tracking
Advertising data
Cookies

Data retention

Game sessions are temporary. Abandoned games are automatically deleted after 24 hours. We do not maintain long-term records of your gameplay.

Third-party services

WordRace uses Supabase for real-time game infrastructure. Supabase processes game data on our behalf. No data is shared with advertisers or other third parties.

Children

WordRace does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to use.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
