WordRace is developed by Francois Boiteux as an independent project. It does not collect personal information. No account, no email, no tracking. We store the bare minimum needed to run a multiplayer word game.
When you play WordRace, the following data is stored on our servers for the duration of a game session:
Game sessions are temporary. We do not maintain long-term records of your gameplay. Game data on the server is used only for the duration of active play and is not retained beyond what is needed for the service to function.
On your device, the app stores daily completion records (which puzzles you finished and your scores) using local storage. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.
To delete your data, simply uninstall the app. Your anonymous player ID exists only on your device. Game sessions on our servers are automatically deleted after 24 hours.
Privacy regulations such as the GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California) grant individuals rights over their personal data, including the right to access, the right to deletion, and the right to data portability.
Since we do not collect personal information, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. Your anonymous player ID is stored only on your device — deleting the app removes it.
WordRace uses Supabase for real-time game infrastructure. Supabase processes game data on our behalf. Supabase hosts our infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). For details, see Supabase's sub-processor list. No data is shared with advertisers or other third parties.
WordRace is designed for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). Since the app requires no account, email, or personal details, there is no mechanism to collect children's data.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
